So just because I think I might get this question some more: I DID NOT MAKE THE CHAINMAIL COIF FOR GODTIER DAVE.  I purchased it on Amazon.com for $43 after shipping.  It is a simple four-ring chainmail coif made of aluminum.  It weighs about 10-12 pounds and it comes, like pretty much all chainmail, in silver.  I simply painted it with Krylon burgundy spray paint (3 coats of it), and I still need to put a layer of varnish on it to keep it from flaking off. So, yeah, it's actually super-simple and not prohibitively expensive!  Come on guys I wanna see like a million chainmail Daves next time I go to a con.  It is the best Godtier XD;;; Paja

I know I'm not talented at artwork, so I'm shifting the focus of my devart to some of my cosplay stuff, I think. Watch me start drawing like there's no tomorrow again.  XD;;;
